The journey started in the year 2002 by Milind Vernekar after completing his graduation from Deccan Institute of Technology (DIT) Kolhapur, in Interior Designing, Landscaping & everything that goes with architecture, construction & development activities of land. He initially worked with Architect. Pramod Beri one of the top most Architect of Maharashtra.
In the initial year of 2003 he established the firm Mahalasa Interiors, and later on in the year 2006 Archana Vernekar joined him who had graduated from ACME Institute of Interior Designing, and the core purpose of this firm since then has been "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".
